The EMT programme is the school's pre-hospital course: what a crew does between the call and the hospital door. It is taught over six modules and thirty-two hours, with the skills labs on site and the theory sessions online.
Roles and scene safety, patient assessment, airway and ventilation, CPR and AED, trauma and immobilisation, and transport and handover. Every module ends with a practical assessment rather than a written one, because the work is practical.
The onsite sessions run in the skills lab on the same equipment an Abu Dhabi ambulance carries, and the online sessions carry the anatomy, the protocols and the documentation. Students practise in teams, with one taking the lead and the others taking the airway and the monitor, which is how a real call is staffed.
Ambulance services, event medical cover and clinic emergency response. Graduates leave with the assessment sequence, the handover and the confidence to run a call under supervision.
